Upper & Lower Venous Ultrasound

Upper and Lower Venous Duplex

Venous duplex imaging is used to evaluate blood clots, venous insufficiency, incompetence or tumor/masses obstructed veins.

Patients at an increased risk for lower extremity peripheral venous disease may include those with previous deep vein and/or superficial vein thrombosis (DVT/SVT), lower extremity trauma, immobilization of extremity, recent major surgery, prolonged bed rest, history of cancer, family history of DVT, pregnancy, congestive heart failure (CHF) or other similar cardiac problems.

Upper extremity PVD most often affects patients with previous upper extremity vein thrombosis or trauma, recent or past surgery on the affected extremity (recent or prior dialysis access graft surgery, dialysis catheter, central venous line or chemotherapy access port insertions), and history of cancer.

  • Skin discoloration of the leg
  • Varicose veins
  • Deep vein thrombosis

  • Phlebitis
  • Edema

A carotid artery ultrasound exam is used to identify a narrowing in the carotid arteries of the neck .

Echocardiogram

Echocardiogram of the heart measuring chamber size and wall thickness for indications of possible valvular problems such as leaks and valve stenosis.

Fertility

Fertility scan is targeted to address issues concerning the fertility potential of the woman.

Kidneys

Ultrasound imaging for stones, atrophy, perfusion, hydronephrosis, hydroureter, fluid collections and masses.

OB/Pregnancy

In addition to 3d/4d Ultrasound, we provide valuable information to assist in the continued health and care of child and mother.

Pelvic

A Pelvic Ultrasound is an efficient and cost-effective way to assess the pelvic organs, which include the uterus, cervix, vagina, fallopian tubes and ovaries.

Renal Artery

If the renal arteries are narrowed or blocked, the kidneys are unable to effectively control blood pressure.

Scrotum

Scrotal Ultrasound monitors the venous and arterial blood flow, and identifies testicular disease or malformations.

Thyroid

The Thyroid Gland controls how quickly the body uses energy, makes proteins.. Ultrasound exam looking for nodules, masses and cysts.
