All Services

Explore our full range of affordable, accurate ultrasound services with advanced GE technology in a comfortable setting.

Abdominal Ultrasound

We perform ultrasounds to evaluate the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, and spleen

Arterial Duplex Ultrasound

Duplex ultrasonography of the upper and lower extremity arteries is performed to provide an overview of the location, extent, and severity of vascular disease.

Abdominal Aorta Doppler Ultrasound

Ultrasound of the Abdominal Aorta examines for Aneurysm (AAA) and plaque-causing blockage to the blood flow in the legs.

Breast Ultrasound

Breast ultrasounds are a safe and painless way to check for lumps in your breasts. Doctors often do ultrasounds after a mammogram or if there is a lump that can be felt. Breast ultrasounds are helpful in many different situations.

Carotid Doppler Ultrasound

A carotid artery ultrasound checks for blockages in the neck arteries, which cause stroke. It's also used to screen for future heart issues, especially in people with high blood pressure or diabetes.

Echocardiogram Ultrasound

An echocardiogram is a heart ultrasound that checks the size, walls, and valves. It helps diagnose issues like heart failure. A 3-lead EKG, meanwhile, monitors the heart's electrical rhythm.

Fertility Ultrasound

A fertility scan evaluates potential issues that may affect a woman’s fertility.

Head & Neck Ultrasounds

This ultrasound provides a comprehensive evaluation of lymph nodes in the head and neck.

Kidney Ultrasound

A renal ultrasound checks the kidneys, ureters, and bladder for stones, cysts, tumors, blockages, infections, and fluid build-up. It also helps assess kidney size, blood flow, and function.

Pelvic Ultrasound

A pelvic ultrasound is a quick, cost-effective test that checks the uterus, cervix, vagina, fallopian tubes, ovaries, and bladder. Doppler imaging may be used to show blood flow to reproductive organs.

Renal Artery Ultrasound

The kidneys help control blood pressure by releasing renin. When the renal arteries narrow or get blocked (renal artery stenosis), the kidneys can’t regulate properly, leading to persistent or severe high blood pressure.

Scrotal Ultrasound

The kidneys regulate blood pressure through the hormone renin. When the renal arteries narrow or become blocked (renal artery stenosis), this control is disrupted, often causing persistently high blood pressure.

Soft Tissue Ultrasounds

A soft tissue ultrasound checks lumps under the skin, showing their size, type, and nature. It helps with early detection and guides treatment.

Thyroid Ultrasound

A thyroid ultrasound uses sound waves to check for lumps or growths in the thyroid. It helps identify cysts, nodules, enlargements, or tumors and can monitor changes over time to guide further testing if needed.

Upper & Lower Venous Ultrasound

Venous duplex imaging detects blood clots, vein blockages, or insufficiency. It’s used for patients at risk from DVT, trauma, surgery, cancer, pregnancy, heart issues, or vascular access devices.

Anatomy Diagnostic Ultrasounds

Our pregnancy anatomy diagnostic ultrasound service is designed to provide expectant parents with a detailed and intimate view of the developing fetus.

FAQ’s

What is an ultrasound?

Ultrasound is one of the safest and least invasive diagnostic imaging tools available. It uses high-frequency sound waves — not radiation — to create real-time images of the body. These sound waves produce echoes that are captured and displayed on a screen, allowing doctors to evaluate internal organs and soft tissues such as the heart, liver, uterus, ovaries, kidneys, and blood vessels. Unlike X-rays, ultrasound does not focus on bones and involves no discomfort and minimal preparation.

During your exam, a certified Sonographer will position you comfortably on an exam table. A small amount of gel will be applied to your skin to improve image quality, and the Sonographer will gently move a handheld device (called a transducer) across the area being examined.

  • You may be asked to remain still, change positions, or hold your breath briefly depending on the type of study.
  • Most exams are quick, painless, and take about 20–45 minutes.

Your exam will be performed by a Sonographer, a licensed medical professional trained in diagnostic imaging. At ProCare Ultrasound, all of our Sonographers are certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS®) and bring years of expertise to every study.

After your exam, a board-certified radiologist will carefully review your images and prepare a detailed diagnostic report for your physician. You will also receive your results securely by email for your records.

  • For compliance reasons, Sonographers cannot share findings directly with patients.
  • Your physician will review the report with you and explain the results at your follow-up.
  • In most cases, results are available the same day.

Preparation depends on the type of exam:

  • Abdominal studies: Do not eat or drink for 6–8 hours before your appointment.

  • Pelvic/Fertility studies: You may be asked to arrive with a full bladder.

  • Other exams: Most require no special preparation.

Important reminders:

  • Do not skip prescribed medications. You may take them with a small sip of water.

  • If you are diabetic, you may eat something light as needed.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.

Yes. Ultrasound is one of the most widely used imaging tools in obstetrics because it does not use radiation. It is safe for both mother and baby when performed by trained professionals.

Most insurance plans cover medically necessary ultrasound exams. Coverage may vary depending on your plan. Our staff can assist you with verifying insurance benefits and explaining self-pay options if needed.

Yes, you may bring a family member or friend for support. In some cases, depending on the type of exam, they may be asked to wait in the lobby.
