Breast ultrasounds are a safe and painless way to check for lumps in your breasts. Doctors often do ultrasounds after a mammogram or if there is a lump that can be felt. Breast ultrasounds are helpful in many different situations.
Appointment duration:
30 minutes
Indications:
- Palpable abnormalities
- Breast pain, fullness, and nipple discharge
- Nonpalpable abnormalities detected on other breast imaging modalities
- Post-op surgery (Implants)
