An abdominal ultrasound is a safe, simple, and painless way to take a closer look at the important organs in your abdomen. It helps your doctor check for common issues like stones, swelling, or changes in size, so that any concerns can be found early.

During this test, the liver is checked for signs of conditions such as fatty liver or hepatitis. The gallbladder is reviewed for gallstones or blockages that may cause stomach pain. The pancreas is looked at for changes that could affect digestion. The kidneys are examined for stones, swelling, or fluid buildup. Finally, the spleen is checked for any enlargement or unusual changes.

Together, this quick and non-invasive scan gives a clear picture of your abdominal health and provides peace of mind.

Arterial Duplex Ultrasound

Duplex ultrasonography of the upper and lower extremity arteries is performed to provide an overview of the location, extent, and severity of vascular disease.

Abdominal Aorta Doppler Ultrasound

Ultrasound of the Abdominal Aorta examines for Aneurysm (AAA) and plaque-causing blockage to the blood flow in the legs.

Breast Ultrasound

Breast ultrasounds are a safe and painless way to check for lumps in your breasts. Doctors often do ultrasounds after a mammogram or if there is a lump that can be felt. Breast ultrasounds are helpful in many different situations.

Carotid Doppler Ultrasound

A carotid artery ultrasound checks for blockages in the neck arteries, which cause stroke. It's also used to screen for future heart issues, especially in people with high blood pressure or diabetes.

Echocardiogram Ultrasound

An echocardiogram is a heart ultrasound that checks the size, walls, and valves. It helps diagnose issues like heart failure. A 3-lead EKG, meanwhile, monitors the heart's electrical rhythm.

Really grateful to have this place in Dunwoody. Had a suspected thrombosis issue and was able to book a next day appointment online first thing in the morning. The technician was calming, informative, and very thorough. And the ambiance in the room was excellent! I got to lie back in a dim room facing a large screen that showed everything happening in the ultrasound. It was all very relaxing considering the circumstances that brought me there. I’ll definitely use them again for my next ultrasound. Thank you team!!

I needed an ultrasound and did a quick search on Google. Procare Ultrasound came up right away and, to my surprise, I was able to schedule for the next day (Monday). The office called me in the morning and got my insurance info, then gave me options. It was much cheaper for me to pay the cash rate, which I did. The office is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I came in and my ultrasound was done immediately, with a monitor on which I could observe. All in all, I was in and out in less than an hour. Great experience, would highly recommend.
